     Our group toured the W. A. YOUNG FOUNDRY & MACHINE SHOP that is located in Rice's Landing, PA.  It is a turn of the century Foundry & Machine Shop that made everything from bronze castings, pipe fittings, locomotive wheels, mine pulleys, horse shoes, and even mouse traps!  A hugh gear hangs on a wall that was also crafted there to accommodate the river lock.  They also worked on river boats.  They closed there doors in 1966 and everything is as it was back then.
